The Mandate Movement (TMM) has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu.
It said Nigerians would reap dividends of democracy.
The group spoke at briefing heralding its rebranding and restructuring.
TMM is an All Progressives Congress (APC) mobilisation group to campaign everywhere.
Lagos State Apex Leader, James Odunmbaku, said agitation by people necessitated the need for enlightenment on policies of government.
Odunmbaku appealed for patience with our condition.
He said: “We are rebuilding and it would not take long before Nigerians enjoy the largesse of democracy,” he said.
He added Tinubu is building the country and TMM is educating the public on activities of the administration..
The leader advised members to work for the party.
“The restructuring and rebranding is for attainments of its goal, members who work will be rewarded,” he said Deputy Apex Leader, Kolawole Peregrino, urged Nigerians to give the administration time to fix the economy.
“Tinubu is repositioning the economy and restoring its lost glory,” he said.
Peregrino urged members to work for the progress of the mandate.
Former Deputy Speaker of House of Assembly, Funmilayo Tejuosho, said TMM supports government to make life bearable.
“We are the President’s representative and we tell people to be patient because Rome was not built in a day. We cannot build Nigeria in a day; it is a gradual process and Tinubu would move Nigeria to a greater heights.
She promised that soon, the naira would regain its strength against dollar.
“We are confident the administration of Bola Tinubu has the right plan. The measures he used to make Lagos State great, is the same method he will use to make Nigeria greater.’’
“We can see that he does not tolerate any form of corruption, wherever there is news of corruption, he moves immediately. He is not sentimental; he is bent on moving Nigeria forward. Let do work, let go to our various local governments and educate the people,” she said.
