After weeks of holding town hall meetings with various stakeholders across Lagos State, the State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will today , Monday 26 January, flag-off its 2015 governorship campaign/mega rally ahead of the February elections.
The Flag-off/Mega rally will hold at the Airways Ground, Oba Akinjobi Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos,the statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Taofeek Gani, has disclosed.
The statement added that the rally will dispels propaganda peddles by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state and will officially kick start the campaigns for all the PDP candidates in the elections.
Those expected at the mega rally includes the party’s bigwigs in Lagos, supports groups, party members and sympathizers.
“Yes, we have been having pre-flag off programmes as part of our reach out strategies, but at this occasion, we will officially present our governorship candidate to Lagosians.
“We have heard the rally called many good names. We see the rally as the “God’s Anointed Rally”. We will use the occasion to reel out majority of our realisable promises to Lagosians and give them the reasons to vote PDP at all the elections in february,” said the state chairman of the party, Rt Captain Tunji Shelle.
