The billionaire, Ibrahim Jimoh has bought compass Newspaper. The newspaper had been in comatose for some time now.
Jimoh, who is the Publisher of the National Mirror, had also acquired the Newswatch Magazine, which he turned to Newswatch Newspaper.
Meanwhile, the directors of the defunct Newswatch magazine had dragged the Ondo born businessman to court for breaching certain clauses in the buy-over agreement. The court has not ruled over the alleged breaching of contractual agreement.
The lawyer turned entrepreneur business interest spans Oil and Gas, Banking, education among others.
