The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari has declared that the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan would be an insult to the injury he had already inflicted on Nigerians.
The former military head of state made the assertion today at the APC Presidential/Governorship rally in Abeokuta Ogun State Capital.
Buhari also presented his wife, Aisha to the public for the first time. He said it was a personal decision to keep his family from the prying eyes of the public. He however said, the wife of the governor of Ogun State, Mrs Olufunsho Amosun had to insist that her wife must come with her to the rally.
While unveiling his plans for the nation if elected, Buhari said he will tackle headlong the hydra-monster corruption which has eaten deep into the fabrics of the nation. He said he will reposition the Nigerian universities and ensure that certificates from Nigerian schools are recognize globally.
Speaking earlier, the National leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said President Jonathan cannot solve the myraid of challenges facing the nation. He dismissed the promises of Mr. President to provide 10 million jobs. The former Lagos State Governor asked the youths to reject the president at the polls and vote for Buhari.
