Following the avalanche of inquiries from Nigerians on how to obtain the American Visas , the United States Consulate General in Lagos will host a Google Hangout on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 12 noon to help address the questions.
This was disclosed in statement issued today by the Public Affairs Department of the Consulate.
According to the statement, a popular Radio personality Oluwasuen will moderate the session.
“On-air-personality Oluwaseun P of NigeriaInfo 99.3 FM will moderate the one hour Google Hangout session and direct your questions to three American Consular Officers who will share practical information about the process of obtaining a U.S. visa”, it read.
It added that, “The Consular Officers are particularly interested in helping to dispel myths and rumors about applying for a visa to visit or study in the United States”.
