Otunba Olufemi Okenla, the chairman HDV Group, owners of Ibis Hotel Ikeja and one of the leaders of the United Action for Change, UAC has disclosed that the non-for-profit organization has sustained investment in Nigerian youth because ‘UAC believes in the future of Nigeria’.
The UAC had trained youths numbering almost 1000 in the last four years.
Okenla spoke at the opening ceremony of the United Action for Change, UAC Youth Leadership Training Programme, the fourth edition holding in Lagos.
The real estate magnate revealed that as part of the core objectives of the UAC, the youth form a critical segment of the society that should not be ignored.
He reckoned that the young folks are living at difficult times adding that the quality of the training will essentially impact the participants forever.
Okenla urged the participants of the 3-day residential training to maximize the opportunities and unleash their potentialities.
