A former broadcast journalist with Channels TV, Sulaimon Aledeh is back on television with a political television show, Political Stew.
The seasoned broadcast journalist and media entrepreneur is coming back on television with a new show “Political Stew” which will air on Television Continental.
Political Stew is a “live talk show that brings the people abreast of daily political happenings in Nigeria and around the world”.
The new TV talk show is coming at a time the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC released timetable for the 2019 general elections in Nigeria and also Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has declared for the second term.
Before his experience with Channels television, Mr Aledeh was a pioneer staff of Television Continental, he also presented programmes for radio and television like A.M Lagos, the flagship breakfast show for Radio Nigeria – making him the station’s most prolific serving presenter.
During his stint with Channels television, Sulai made headlines with his colleagues covering two major national elections in Nigeria in 2011 and 2015.
Apart from his daily show Sunrise Daily, Mr Aledeh has been seen on Politics Today, State of the Nation and the Station’s flagship News at 10.
Sulai handled political programmes and also made daily news and current affairs for Channels television.
The broadcaster had a short stint with Arise Television before he resigned to focus fully on his online platform, Aledeh which has since become a one-stop news portal for many.
However, owing to his love for television, Sulai has now returned with a new talk show “Political Stew” which is expected to set the pace for “political discourse” ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria.
In April, Sulai gave a hint about the show on the micro-blogging site, Twitter but refused to mention the television station that the show will be aired.
