Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Friday, led other South-West Governors to the residence of the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke; his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun; and the Ekiti State Hovernor, Abiodun Oyebanji, were present while the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu has yet to arrive at the residence as of the time of filing this report.
Our correspondent reports that Akeredolu died of complications from prostrate cancer in Germany, on Wednesday.
