
The convener of Self-Made CEO Summit, Ridwan Lawal has said his passion to see many Nigerian youth gainfully engaged prompted him to create a platform where young folks are empowered.
Lawal, a graduate of Mathematics Education from the University of Lagos started the summit in 2017.
Speaking with COMPLETE NEWS in Lagos on Monday, the 27-year old Entrepreneur whose business interest spans Information Communication Technology, ICT, Digital marketing and Event Management said participants will learn from industry leaders on how to start and scale their businesses.
According to him, opportunities abound in different sectors of the economy which Nigerian youths can tap adding that knowledge will be taught on how participants can start business with little capital and opportunities for fund raising.
Lawal, an alumnus of the United Action for Change, UAC Youth Leadership Training Programme challenged young people to be creative and surround themselves with peers who will constantly challenged to reach for the sky.
His words, “Self Made CEO Summit which is designed to cater for the growing unemployed graduate and job seekers with a benefit for both business and network opportunities.
“It will provide the platform needed to practically and technically prepare the unemployed graduates and job seekers for the exciting world of entrepreneurship”.
The Summit holds Tuesday, 1st, October, 2019 at Faculty of Education, University of Lagos Akoka Lagos. Time is 10 am
