A meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and top stars in the Nigerian movie industry is underway in Lagos, The Complete News can report.
A source at the meeting confirmed to our correspondent that the late evening meeting was not unconnected with the 2015 presidential election slated for 14 February. The president has been traversing the entire country soliciting for votes from Nigerians.
Earlier in the day, the president’s campaign train berthed in Maiduguri, Borno State capital. The state and other states in the North eastern region have been ravaged by deadly Boko Haram sect.
At the rally Jonathan reassured the residents of his commitment to flush out the insurgency.
