Barely 48 hours that a secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Ekiti regained freedom from den of kidnappers, Gunmen on Saturday morning in the State abducted a pastor and four others.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the pastor identified as Ojo, his driver, Jimoh, and three other were said to be traveling in two vehicles on Ise Ekiti road in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of the state when they were abducted.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Alberto Adeyemi, confirmed the incident.
He said two of the victims had been released, and that the police were on the trail of the hoodlums to rescue the remaining three persons.
Mr. Adeyemi urged residents to help the police with useful information to track down criminals in the state.
