
The Ekiti State Governror Ayodele Fayose today visited his political ally anfd a former minister of aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode at the custody of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission in Abuja.
Addressing Journalists outside the Commission’s office, described Fani=Kayode continued detention as vendetta from the PDP-led Buhari government.
“The continued detention of the former minister was aimed at demoralising him but unfortunately, the man was in high spirit when I met him.
“He is not worried, after all, a man must be brave. We shared prayer together that this persecution will come to pass and it will surely come to pass, the governor declared.
It will be recalled that a respected cleric, Bishop Matthew Kukah recently visited Musiliu Obanikoro, Rueben Abati and Fani-Kayode. Obanikoro and Abati had since been granted administrative bail.
