A former deputy governor of old Cross River State, Dr. Mathias Ofoboche is dead.
Reports have it that Politician died of an undisclosed ailment in a London hospital on Sunday. Ofoboche hailed from Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.
He was deputy to the late Cross River State governor, Dr. Clement Isong during the administration of former President Shehu Shagari between 1979 and 1983.
They both ruled the state under the banner of National Party of Nigeria, NPN.
