The Opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has cried out over the invasion of former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dazuki by the Department of Security Service describing it as a deliberate move to clamp down on loyalists of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
Dasuki (retd), was holed in Abuja Mansion at 13 John Khadiya Street, Asokoro for more than 24hours before the operatives withdrew having seized his International Passport.
According to reports, the security operatives insisted on arresting him but he resisted the arrest stressing he should be told his infractions.
Expensive cars belonging to Dazuki were also taken away from his premises.
The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh, who was among the top Dazuki’s friends who visited the House were also turned back. and made move to enter the house but he was asked to turn back by stern-looking DSS operatives.
Enraged Metuh who described Dasuki as his personal friend said, “It is clear to all meaning persons that this government is after those who served under the PDP government led by Jonathan and we hereby called on the global community to call them to order in the interest of peace,”
He said, those who served with former President should not be treated as a Prisoners of war. He boasted that Jonathan’s lieutenants served the nation faithfully.
