As the crisis threatens to tear apart the ruling party, President Muhammadu Buhari is holding a crucial meeting behind a closed-door with Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aso Villa.
Those at the meeting according to report are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and Governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu; Chairman of Northern Governors Forum, Simon Lalong and Governor of Jigawa state, Abubakar Badaru.
It will be recalled that the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, had a similarly meeting with the president on Sunday.
