President Muhammadu Buhari has made few other appointments today.
The fate of the suspended boss of the Nigerian Immigration Servive was however sealed with the appointment of . Kure Martin Abeshi as the new Comptroller-General, Service.
Others are; Engr. Babachir David Lawal – Secretary to the Government of the Federation
Alhaji Abba Kyari – Chief of Staff to the President
Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd.) – Comptroller-General, Nigerian Customs Service
Senator Ita S.J. Enang – SSA to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate)
Hon. Suleiman A. Kawu – SSA to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives)
The appointments are with effect from today, August 27, 2015.
It will be recalled that Buhari had come under intense criticism for not making appointments into various strategic positions in Government.
