
A move calculated to douse tension in the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, the party has shifted its governorship primaries till Wednesday next week.
The election was slated for this Saturday before its postponement. Locked party secretariat by the group APC Secretariat Also, the primaries would now hold at the Democracy Park.
Reports say that Army authorities turned down the request of the party to hold the election in the military barracks. The state secretary of the party, Rotimi Rahman confirmed the shifting of the primaries to Wednesday next week when contacted last night. Delegates go into hiding In a similar vein,
3,000 delegates across the 18 council areas of the state would choose a candidate out of 25 aspirants participating in the primaries.
It will recalled that the national chairman, John Oyegun had summoned aspirants to Abuja last Saturday to assure them that the party will be fair to all contestants.
