Voting in Osogbo metropolis, Ede and Ife areas of the state where COMPLETE NEWS correspondents monitored the exercise were peaceful and orderly.
Sekona in Ede Local Government Area,where our correspondent spoke with voters who expressed satisfaction over the exercise was orderly.
The card readers were working well and security agents conducted themselves in a professional manner, the locals told COMPLETE NEWS.
In Ife East, Ward 10, Modakeke, Polling Unit 10. Our correspondent spoke with party agents and voters. They adjudged the process peaceful and rancor-free.
Earlier, John Tomasewski, who led a group of international observers was interviewed by COMPLETE NEWS in Ede around 10 am .
When asked of his observation so far, Tomasewski said the process was peaceful and the people were orderly.
He however said it was too early in the day to rate the entire process as voting was still underway.
On the issue of vote buying syndrome, the international observer said he had not witness outright open purchase of votes as witnessed in the last Ekiti governorship election.
He hailed the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for putting in place measures to curb open inducement of voters.
