There was a mild drama on the popular Oshodi/ Apapa expressway around Mile 2 area as the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APc Asiwaju Bola Tinubu stopped his convoy and opened the roof of his SUV and acknowledged cheers from admirers who ran after his vehicle with the hope of getting money.
Meanwhile, as the former governor brought out money to give to the excited fans who were mostly youths, one of the youths, who was suspected to be Thug advanced towards Tinubu and snatched the money from his hand.
The ‘smart’ thug beat Tinubu’s security aide to it. He immediately jumped to the other side. Other thugs gave him a hot chase.
Motorists and commuters stopped to have glimpse of the generalissimo of Lagos politics. Tinubu was coming from APC Governorship rally at Amuwo Odofin Local Government.
