Unity Forum caucus in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State has support for the candidate of the party, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Alhaji Ali Olanusi, a former deputy governor who is the leader of the group made the declaration in Akure, Ondo State capital on Sunday.
The forum comprises of some aggrieved members of the party who were initially hell-bent on ensuring that the governor would not be the candidate of the party in the October 10 governorship election but their consensus candidate, Chief Olusola Oke, lost the primary to Governor Akeredolu.
He ( Oke ) has also declared his support for the governor when the governor paid him a visit after the primary.
The leader of the group, Alhaji Olanusi who was present at the meeting said he and members of the group would be ready to campaign for Akeredolu when the campaign started.
