Madam Mary Paul Lalai, mother of one of the abducted girls of Chibok in Borno State is dead. The grieved woman’s death was confirmed by the lawmaker representing Chibok constituency in the State House of Assembly, Aimu Fona.
The lawmaker further disclosed that it was not the father of the two girls that died but one of his two wives who on hearing the shocking news of the abduction of her daughter collapsed and died of heart attack the following day after they were taken away like sheep.
The late Mary has since been buried according to Christian rites at the Mbulabam Village in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State.
Left to moan her are husband who is still hoping for the release of two of his daughters held at the Sambisa bunkers of the Boko Haram.
Several rumours were earlier rife that the father of the teenagers had died from heart attack after two of his daughters from his two wives were snatched away by the Boko Haram over a month ago.
A couple of them have been released after bloody rapes inflicted on them while tied to a tree or due to health reasons like one bleeding from her nipples after been over sucked by the cultists but up till now it is believed that at least 200 of the ladies are scattered among almost fifty sub basis of the sect around Sambisa and the lake Chad Islands.
