Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has mourned the passage of the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Adamu Attah describing his demise as painful and tragic.
Ahmed who expressed his grief in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba described the demise of the former governor who served Kwara State between 1979 and 1983 as shocking and a national lost.
Dr Ahmed noted that Nigeria has lost the wisdom of an elder statesman with the death of the former governor. “I also commiserate with the government and people of Kogi State over the loss of this illustrious son who contributed immensely to building a strong nation where equity and justice will reign”, the Governor said.
Gov Ahmed prayed Allah to grant the soul of the deceased aljanat fridaous and the family of Alhaji Adamu Attah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
