The former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Chief Solomon Lar, is dead.
The governor of Plateau State confirmed this to newsmen today.
Lar who was also a former governor of Plateau had on life support machine.
He reportedly died in a United States hospital on Wednesday. He was aged 80.
The PDP chieftain had been battling an undisclosed ailment for some months before he was flown to U.S for treatment.
