Co-founder of BudgIT, Seun Onigbinde, who has been under intense criticisms for taking up appointment in President Muhammadu Buhari administration government on Monday, announced his resignation as the Technical Adviser to the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba.
He made this announcement on his Medium page, a link of which he shared on his official Twitter handle.
Onigbinde said, “Upon further reflections on the furore that has been generated by my new role as the Technical Adviser to the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, I humbly resign the appointment.”
Recall that Onigbinde deactivated his Twitter account allegedly to prevent users have access to scathing salvos he had fired the Buhari government in the past. He however denied shutting down his Twitter account claiming he ran of data and telephone airtime.
Meanwhile, the criticism climaxed Sunday when an influential support group of the president, Buhari Media Organization, BMO called on the government to sack Onigbinde describing him as a man lacking in honour and character.
