Inmates at the Ikoyi Correctional Facility attempted to break free from confinement this afternoon.
They made burn fire inside the prisons as they attempted to escape. Combined security forces comprising riot policemen and soldiers repelled the attempted break jail as the shot in to the air repeatedly to wade off inmates.
