
No fewer than 480 Nigerian soldiers have reportedly fled into Cameroon following the fierce battle that ensued between them and dreaded Boko Haram terrorists.
Cameroon’s army who confirmed the report through Army spokesman, Lt Col Didier Badjek, said the
soldiers had been disarmed and were now being accommodated in schools.
Clashes are said to be continuing in the border town of Gamboru Ngala.
Meanwhile, Federal Government has vowed not to spare any resources in the fight against Boko Haram terrorists. The sect had in a video released yesterday declared a Borno town, Gwoza an Islamic Caliphate.
The Minister for Information , Labaran Maku who dismissed the report that Nigeria had lost Gwoza to Boko Haram said the nation will fight till the last man to protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
He insisted that the Boko Haram terrorists alongside with their local and foreign backers will never over run Nigeria.
