At least a whopping N1trn had been expended by President Goodluck Jonathan for his re-election campaign, the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization, APCPCO has claimed.
The APCPCO further the public coffers are bleeding as the President had almost emptied the treasury to fund his election campaigns.
These allegations were made at a press conference in Abuja today.
According to the APC, President Jonathan who had spent 6 years in office, his legacies should have been speaking for him and not going about sharing money. The party urged voters to act decisively and vote the PDP-led government next Saturday.
The president had been traversing the entire nation canvasing for votes from Nigerians. Meanwhile, controversies had trailed the frequent visits of Jonathan to Lagos and other states in the south-west. He had been accused by the opposition party and human rights activists of dolling out Dollars to Monarchs and numerous support groups.
