The United States President Barrack Obama has again challenged African youths to work assiduously for the progress of the continent noting that they are the hope of the continent.
Obama, disclosed this today in a letter written to Young African Leaders Initiative Network .
The US President visited Kenya and Ethiopia last week making him the forist American President to visit both countries.
He said, “As you probably know, I just returned from Africa. I was proud to be the first U.S. president to visit Kenya, Ethiopia and the African Union.
“As I said last week, Africa is on the move – and young leaders like you are the ones pushing your countries forward.
“Your generation and your ideas are what makes this YALI Network special – and will ultimately increase economic opportunity, accountability and equality across the continent.
I’m so proud that the YALI Network is a growing community of young African leaders passionate about business and entrepreneurship, civic leadership and public management.
“This Network not only connects you to one another but also to resources from the U.S. government.
“As a YALI Network member, you have access to face-to-face interactions, virtual events and educational resources created just for you” Obama assured.
