The CLEEN Foundation has partnered with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to sensitize motorists on the application process of driver’s license and how to renew expired licenses.
The sensitization which will hold today in Lagos, Abuja, Delta, Rivers, Oyo ,Nassarawa .
In a statement signed by Benson Olugbuo, the acting Executive Director at CLEEN, the sensitization rallies and workshops will kick off simultaneously by 9:00am on Thursday 17th December 2015 the following locations:
- Garki Modern Market, Garki, Abuja FCT
- Chadef Hotel, Anwi Road, Asaba, Delta State
- NURTW Park, Mile 1, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
- Ojodu-Berger Motor Park, Ojodu Lagos State
- FRSC Base, Eleyele, Ibadan, Oyo State
- FRSC Nassarawa State Command, Off Makurdi Road, Lafia, Nassarawa State
The CLEEN stated that, “The goal of the sensitization is to raise awareness of the general public on the procedure for obtaining and renewing drivers’ licenses with the view to equipping Nigerians with the information to avoid corrupt practices and to promote safer road usage.
“These rallies are in support of the “Ember Months Campaign” of the FRSC and in continuation of similar sensitization campaigns previously hosted by the CLEEN Foundation and the FRSC. Six other rallies are schedule for the first quarter of 2016”.
