Amid tight security, the Ogun State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, has struck out the petition of Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and upheld the victory of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Chairman of the three man panel, Justice Henry Olusiyi while delivering his ruling on Friday, 23 October said the petition of Isiaka and the PDP lacked merit.
The tribunal faulted the petitioners for not proving their case beyond reasonable doubt, adding that, the petitioners failed to satisfy the tribunal with evidences that could convince it.
