In what appears as a show off, Chairman of the Silverbird Group and Bayelsa East senator-elect, Ben Murray-Bruce, took to his Twitter handle to boast about his newly acquired KIA electric car saying fuel scarcity is least of his worries.
He wrote: “With the fuel scarcity, I feel for my people in Nigeria. That’s why I introduced the electric car. I drive it without bothering about fuel.”
Murray-Bruce, shortly after his victory at the polls had been vocal on the need to cause change in every facet of National life.
The Bayelsa- born entrepreneur gave a moving speech at 2015 Silverbird Man Of the Year award held in Lagos early this month. He lampooned the Nigerian political elites of failing the people. He vowed to push for bills in the interest of the people.
