Buhari’s PVC was swiped on the card reader machine to authenticate its genuineness. The process of PVC authenticate was completed in less than one minute.

9:20 am: Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has arrived his polling unit in Otuoke, Bayelsa State for his accreditation. Jonathan is currently having hitches with his PVC screening. The president, his wife and mother are deeply disturbed over the development. President’s mother and first lady Patience had been given chairs to sit while the president is standing looking seriously dejected.
Meanwhile, from observation, it appeared the card reader machine might be the cause of the delay.
Jonathan accredited after 30minutes, President sues for calm
9:55 a.m : Presideent Goodluck Jonathan has finally been accredited after waiting for over 30minutes. Meanwhile, his wife accreditation took less than 2minutes and that of his mother. Accosted by journalists who had been waiting patiently for him, the president sued for calm among Nigerians following the hitches and hiccups experienced. He said the world was interested in the nation’s elections adding that not few leaders of the world had called him to ensure credible, peaceful election.
On the no movement directive during elections, Jonathan restated that restriction of movement was necessary to forestall any breakdown of law and order. He said the land borders were shut to prevent unscrupulous elements from invading the Nigeria to foment trouble
