Veteran Nollywood actor, Yinka Quadri, was in tears on Monday as his longtime colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, was laid to rest in Ilaro, Ogun State.
Quadri is among the prominent members of the Nollywood film industry who gathered in Ilaro to bid farewell to the late actor.
Quadri, who shared a long-standing relationship with the deceased, had been among the colleagues who rallied around Hassan during his illness.
Also present at the burial were veteran actor Jide Kosoko, actress Ireti Osayemi, Femi Adebayo, and other Nollywood personalities who arrived in Ilaro to pay their final respects.
It was reported that Hassan died on August 23, 2026, at the age of 66, after battling stage-four cancer.
