President Goodluck Jonathan has felicitated with the prominent lawyer, civil rights activist and political leader, Dr Tunji Braithwaite, who is 80 today.
Jonathan in through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, in a statement today praised the elder statesman’s life-long commitment to the pursuit of better living conditions for all Nigerians.
He said: “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I extend warm felicitations to you on the landmark occasion of your 80th birthday anniversary.
“Over the years, you have remained steadfastly committed to the pursuit of the ideals of excellence and selfless service in your personal life, your chosen legal profession, and in your political exertions on behalf of the masses of our nation.
“As you deservedly celebrate this glorious day with your family, friends, protégés, and numerous well-wishers, it is my prayer that Almighty God grants you many more happy years of fulfillment and distinguished service”.
The president wished Braithwaite very happy 80thbirthday celebrations.
