Mr Speaker, this appointment is a testament to your great capacity, particularly in the area of management of tendencies and interests across political, social and religious divides.
No doubt, your wealth of experience as a seasoned legal practitioner with global exposure and your sterling accomplishments as an erudite legislator contributed to this great feat.
For two decades in the green Chamber, you demonstrated great competence and remained loyal to the progressive course without wavering. You led the House of Representatives effectively to the admiration of many Nigerians.
You will always be remembered for the people-oriented legislations and motions you championed for the development of our dear nation Nigeria.
