The embattled deputy governor of Ondo State, Mr Agboola Ajayi who dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC on June 21 for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has quit the party.
Agboola who fell out with the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu jostled for the PDP governorship ticket but lost to the Eyitayo Jegede, SAN who flew the flag of the party in 2016.
The reason for the resignation from the PDP might not be unconnected with the outcome of the primary.
