
Top officials of the Nigerian army and the police visited the site of the twin bomb explosions in Jos today. The explosions killed over 100 people and left several dozens injured.
The explosions which went off in a Terminus market in the city threw the state capital into pandemonium as residents were fleeing their business places and homes.
Though, no group has claimed responsibility for the tragic attack but observers noted that the explosions had a imprimatur of the deadly Boko Haram sect.
President Goodluck Jonathan had condemned the attack in strong terms pledging to bring the perpetrators to book.
