
A former minister of aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode has accused that the South African President Jacob Zuma of colluding with the leaders of the opposition party in Nigeria to drag President Goodluck Jonathan administration in the mud.
Fani-Kayode alleged this on the heels of the recent $5.7m Nigeria’s arm money seized by the south African government barely 3 weeks that $9.3m was allegedly meant for arms purchase intercepted and seized by the government.
The ex-minister said he had it on good authority that the election of Jacob Zuma was funded by key notable leaders of opposition.
He called for punitive actions to be taken against the country insisting that the transactions were legitimate and should not have been matter of the media.
“The leaders of opposition party might have told the Jacob Zuma to help discredit this government since election is coming. Since they funded his election he is playing out the script”.
The Osun State-born politician said this on a a breakfast show today monitored in Lagos.
Fani-Kayode who recently defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from the All Progressives Congress, APC warned that the war against terror should not be politicized.
